Alleluia, what a freakin’ awesome rollercoaster ride this has been and I am the MOST excited about this masterpiece.
52 Art Beat Artists were carefully selected by my publisher (Bekking & Blitz), my agent (Kajsa Blomberg), and me. The result is a marvelous assemblage, filled with joyful art, mostly created for the Art Beat Club courses over the past year(s).
Each week has one page with a beautiful piece of art and one page for the dates, laid out on a two-page spread.
The artists are from all around the world (from Amsterdam to New York) and I’m so grateful we were able to co-create this masterpiece together.
An Art Beat Planner has been a dream of mine for years.
My students create gorgeous art works in my classes. But lots of this has ‘disappeared’ into dusty drawers, ‘forgotten’ art journals, or just… somewhere in a closet.
This year, my wonderful agent, Kajsa Blomberg, helped me to realize my dream, and make it into a tangible and beautiful product.
I wanted to build a stage for my artists. So that the world could enjoy their joyous paintings, collages, and art-journaled and hand-lettered pieces.
I don’t believe in zealous goal-chasing. I believe in gut feeling and responding to what happens inside and around me. If I feel a YES and I feel a deeper connection and trust, I get into create and action mode. I love surfing life’s force.
This planner is how I’m hoping to check in with my joy during 2022, and I’ll use it to schedule my days. It’s where I’ll make stuff happen. It’s here to help me plan my time and life and I LOVE it.
I’m gonna use this planner for writing as well. Collecting ideas, daydreaming, making plans, journaling when I need a soulful pause. Why not? There’s plenty of space.

PS: the reason why the planner is late (I know, it’s November already), is that because of coronavirus there has been lots of issues with the supply chain, such as lack of paper and raw materials, transport, etc.
But this will not spoil the fun.
